Parade, Live Music and Fireworks in Lake Placid
Join the fun and festivities as you celebrate Independence Day 2025 in Lake Placid!
July 4th Parade
Starting at 5:00 PM take in the fun, homespun parade that has become a cherished annual tradition. The parade begins at the Post Office, goes down Main Street, and concludes at Saranac Avenue (High Peaks Resort). Local civic groups, businesses, and individuals roll down the parade route in decorated vehicles of all sorts and throw goodies for the kids!
The parade itself is fairly short and parking can be tight so you may wish to arrive early. While you wait, take in beautiful Mirror Lake beach, or shopping at the boutique stores and eating on Main Street.
Live Music in Mid's Park at the "Bandshell":
1-4 pm: Bluegrass Music with "Nubble"
7 pm: Lake Placid Sinfonetta will entertain with a free lakeside concert sponsored by Champlain National Bank. The concert will feature an hour of classical pops! Bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the music with the best waterfront view in town! In the event of rain or temperatures below 65, the concert will be moved to St. Agnes Church on Saranac Ave.
Fireworks over Mirror Lake
July 4th culminates in Lake Placid's incredible Fourth of July fireworks extravaganza, Set the Night to Music. The fireworks show, begins at 9:30 p.m.and is choreographed to music. Hear the official soundtrack live on 93.3/102.1 - LAKEfm and 105.5/95.3 FM - Adirondack 105.
