đ Booking & Policies
How do I book a home directly with Adirondack-Vacation?
You can book directly on our website for the best rates and no hidden fees. Simply choose your vacation rental home, select your dates, specify the number of adults, children, and pets in your party, and follow the secure checkout process.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 60 days or more before arrival will receive a full refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee (to cover credit card processing costs).
Cancellations or changes made within 60 days of arrival are non-refundable.
Do you require a security deposit?
No. A security deposit is not required when you book our homes.
Are pets allowed?
Yes! All of our homes are dog-friendly! đž Most allow up to 3 dogs with No Fee. Two of our properties have large, fenced yards for your pup. Please check the individual property details.
We ask our guests to please bring a sheet to cover the furniture if your dog sits/sleeps with you, and pick up all waste from the property.
Do you charge extra cleaning fees?
A one-time cleaning fee is applied to each booking. This ensures the home and hot tub are professionally cleaned and sanitized before every stay.
Is travel insurance recommended?
We strongly encourage guests to purchase travel insurance to protect their trip investment. Life happens, and unexpected events—illness, weather, or emergencies—can force last-minute cancellations more often than most travelers realize. Once the cancellation window has passed, it’s very difficult for us to re-book the home on short notice, so as a small business, we’re unable to issue refunds outside of the policy terms.
While we’re not affiliated with any insurance providers, many of our guests have used CSA or Rental Guardian. You’ll see insurance options available at the time of booking, and we highly recommend considering them for peace of mind.
What's the payment schedule?
A deposit of 25% of the total booking amount is due at the time of reservation to hold your dates. The balance is automatically charged to your card on file 35 days before arrival.
